BioAs a result of various circumstances, some of them beyond my control and others involving rash promises, here I am, finally and warily dipping a toe into that weird, suspicious-looking pool (ocean! ocean! with sharks in it!) called the Internet.
I'm a student at the moment, and therefore usually found tucked away in dorm rooms, cafes, laundromats, and other stereotypical studentlike places, occupied with studying, scribbling, putting on a show of being productive, and other stereotypical studentlike activities. This is unlikely to stop particularly soon, since I'm an English major and, well, prospects of occupancy in that thing called the Real World are slim.
I like anime (yes, me and everyone else on the planet, nowadays); Broadway musicals, and, more recently, the Takarazuka revue; and reading, but since I get quite enough of the last at school, or while spending time with the actual books in question, I won't be talking much about that here.
The title of this journal is indebted to Gordon Teskey, whose improvised expressions in everyday conversation are far more brilliant than my title-concocting abilities could ever hope to be.
